Heavy Petal Plant Pick
brought to you by Skinner Nurseries, Marietta, www.skinnernurseries.com
Matt Topper, Manager of Skinner Nurseries, Marietta.  Matt's Heavy Petal Plant Pick was the Maple and Pin Oak. These are excellent street trees because they can take pollution, heavy clay soils and salts.  Plus these trees are a wonderful food source for so many animals.  Great choice Matt.

My Special Guest: Mr. Raul Arias de Para.
He is the owner and operator of The Canopy Tower and the Canopy Lodge, Panama.  Mr. Arias de Para obtained a BS at St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. and his Master's degree in  economics from the University of Virginia.  He is also active in conservation and is Vice President of ANCON, the largest conservation organization in Panama, President of Fundacion of Avifauna, which is dedicated to the conservation of bird habitat and Board Member of Fundacion Amador, in charge of the museum of biodiversity, under construction, and designed by Master Architect Frank Gehry. What an interview. I was so honored to have Mr. Arias de Para on my show.  Panama has 90 more species of birds than neighbor Costa Rica, but far less tourist, which sounds even better!  For more information on ecotourism, the flora and fauna of Panama and the Canopy Tower and Lodge go to www.canopytower.com.
